PM to Inaugurate Bharat Renewable Energy Expo 2026 in New Delhi Today, Spotlighting India’s Clean Energy Future

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026’ at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today at around 4:30 PM and address the gathering. This four-day summit will be held from November 2 to 5.

The theme of this year’s summit is ‘Invest, Innovate, Inspire’. Representatives from over 130 countries will participate in the event, including more than 40 ministers, policymakers, investors, and key leaders from the industry.

The objective of the summit is to strengthen global cooperation and promote investment in the clean energy sector. Nine countries—including Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the UK, along with the European Union, will participate as partners.

Thirteen states and union territories will showcase their renewable energy capacity, investment potential, and manufacturing capabilities. The accompanying exhibition will feature more than 400 exhibitors showcasing solutions in areas such as solar and wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage and other emerging technologies.

This summit will be held alongside the 9th session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH). While the ISA Assembly will focus on international cooperation in the solar energy sector, the ICGH will cover discussions on green hydrogen technologies, investments, and large-scale deployment.

Building on India’s RE-INVEST initiative, ‘Bharat RE 2026’ will feature ministerial-level discussions, CEO roundtables, plenary sessions, and business meetings. These events aim to encourage investment in the clean energy sector, foster technical partnerships, and accelerate the development of clean energy projects.
